Description

Duke Xtreme is an add-on for Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition or Duke Nukem 3D: Plutonium Pak, bundling online content from various sources in a single package. It contains 50 user-made maps and optional replacements for standard weapons. The Mighty Boot, Pistol, Freezethrower, Devastator, and RPG can be replaced with the Knife, Silenced Pistol, Statue Maker (turn enemies into statues by holding the space bar), Devastator with a different look and Roman Candle Launcher respectively. There are also two new enemies: King Cobra, a giant rattle snake, and Gorilla Captain, a super pig cop with lots of guns.

Various hacks and customization can be defined through an included Windows front end. This includes modifying the health of Duke and most enemies (not Protector Drone, Pig Cop Tank and The Queen), changing the strength of weapons, available ammo and blast radius, blood fountains as replacements for standard water, different gore levels and destructible security cameras, and dead bodies that explode or turn into ghosts. Custom hacks can be saved as well.
