Earl Weaver Baseball has what it takes to keep you playing over a long period of time; it is rather like a cross between Football Manager and Graham Gooch's Test Cricket that has come out of the processor as a baseball game. The Amiga's graphics are adequately used - there is some neat animation on the pitching/battling - but it is not a visually stunning game. Sound, though, is impressive, from the theme tune through the digitized speech up to the continual background noise from the crowd.
In the long term, Earl Weaver's added features make game more stimulating.
