Description
Earth 2160 is the 3rd installment of popular Earth series.
After the destruction of Earth in 2150, only few thousand humans managed to escape to Mars. They spent the next few years on the terraforming of the red planet, developing new technologies and building up new civilisations. Each of the three fractions ("Eurasian Dynasty", "United Civilised States" and "Lunar Corporation") did this separately from each other - but in the year 2160 something strange happens in this new world...
The gameplay looks similar to Earth 2150 - resource collecting, expanding your own base and dealing with enemies. However, the creators added several new options to the game like virtual agents. Agents are like counsels in SimCity. They can help with unit commanding, technology stealing or improving resource gathering.
Another modification is modular construction of buildings and units (you can create your own units from many smaller parts).
There were also added many improvements to the netplay such as new game modes or save game support.
Foreign gamers can also easily communicate thanks to full Unicode support.

Trivia
One of the few PC games that actually uses region lock protection. Example if you buy the UK version of the game and try to run it on a PC with a US region setting, it'll give out an error message.
