Description
You play as Victor Corbet, nickname El Matador, a special agent employed by the DEA. Your goal is it to bring down the drug cartel La Valedora in Colombia after a big massacre on the local DEA-office in Bogotá.
Since those drugdealers and bodyguards will not talk with you, you have access to six categories of weapons from normal pistols to machineguns, rocket launchers and chainguns. In addition, El Matador can slow down the time like
Max Payne. There are two modes available. One is automatically activated, for instance when you dive, and doesn't cost anything. The other is manually activated and drains your slow-timemeter. You play with a 3rd-person perspective through different kinds of environments from the Colombian jungle to harbors or hotels. To make your life a little easier, you sometimes have AI-buddies on your side, who are either with you from the beginning of the mission or drop in spectacularly as additional backup.
This edition was exclusively available at two German Saturn branches in Leipzig for the Games Convention 2006. It was a limited production of 2000 units and is the only available Uncut version in German. The official release version (pushed back) was significantly altered to get an USK 18 rating instead of none.
