Description

More than Kirk versus Picard, or the chicken or the egg causality, is the age-old rivalry between the ice-cream truck and the enraged rocket house. Partly inspired by Yars' Revenge and a Simpsons episode, this entry for the VNGN competition has the player control an ice-cream truck from a third-person perspective, delivering ice-cream to the neighbourhood kids.

The truck starts with nine different choices of ice-cream and each of them with a set amount. When stopping near a kid, the player quickly needs to match the number of choice to sell ice-cream. There is an extra button when a flavour is sold out. Of course, this infuriates the enraged rocket house hovering over the village and as its rage meter increases, it will attempt to grab the truck between its mighty teeth and shake it to make it lose a part of its stock. This also depletes the truck's energy meter. Lost items can be picked up again, but when the energy meter is drained, the game is over. Children can be lured from a larger distance by activating the truck's music, but this awakens the house's fury completely. The objective is to sell all of the ice-cream while avoiding the house.
