Mangels origineller Features und angesichts des Mittelmaßes in den Bereichen Grafik und Sound kann Extreme Pinball mit High-End-Flippern (z.B. Empires Pro Pinball) nicht konkurrieren und ist daher nur einer von vielen.

Ordentliche Soundeffekte, flüssiges Scrolling und ein realistischer Kugellauf sorgen zwar für ein paar Stunden unbesorgten Spielens, Empires "Pro Pinball" ist aber nach wie vor so etwas wie die blaue Mauritius des Genres.

Extreme Pinball har inte ett passande namn. Det är så långt ifrån något extremt man kan komma. Ett hyfsat men inte alls speciellt flipperspel.

Wer weniger Wert auf eine genaue Simulation oder innovative Momente legt, wird Extreme Pinball mögen. Erwartungen auf "extrem" neue Ideen und realistische Umsetzungen werden allerdings enttäuscht.

I would never tell anyone NOT to buy this game, but I would strongly recommend that you TRY BEFORE YOU BUY! I played this game for about three hours in total over the first week and am looking to trade it for another game as soon as I can.

Digital pinball games have become quite popular over the last few years and so it isn't surprising to see them showing up on the Sony PlayStation. Electronic Arts has supplied gamers with a pinball game for the PSX by porting an identical copy of their Extreme Pinball version for the PC over to this platform. The result is four medium paced pinball tables that will provide you with a challenge until better pinball games are released.

Dans le domaine des jeux de flippers, on a à peu près tout vu, même ce qui se fait de pire. Voici donc un flipper moyennement intéressant. Pourquoi ? Il y a quatre tables, deux d'entre elles sont très belles, et le scrolling est très rapide mais l'inertie de la balle est vraiment mal rendue. Le problème avec Extreme Pinball, c'est que la gravité est très mal gérée. Je rappelle donc aux programmeurs de ce type de jeu que sur terre, la gravité est en moyenne égale à 9,8.
