Description

A follow-up to The Book of Living Magic, this commissioned game has the player return to the bent fantasy village of Oddness Standing in order to attend the final performance of The Fabulous Screech's circus. Therein, the player travels through time to critical moments in the past and future of the circus ringmaster Screech the cat, literally traveling through Heaven and Hell. Adventure game standard puzzles of fetch quests, conversation and passing locked doors constitute the majority of the gameplay, plus an extraordinary detour into an action-arcade Whac-a-mole minigame. The brief and sentimental game stands as a meditation on living a life without regrets by bringing comfort to loved ones.
