Description

In Fantasy Manager you create your own football team either alone or with up to 15 other human players. The game is based on a british TV show that was broadcasted at the time of its release. You start the game £25 millions on the bank, but you have no players in your squad so you must buy these. They are all real Premier League players that cost between less than a million up to 5 millions. When you have a complete team you just play match after match and you can earn som more money that can be used to buy new players. The matches show highlight sequences where you get to know what happened, e.g. goal, corner or foul.

Trivia

Although the TV show hosted by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner alongside Angus 'Statto' Loughran originally featured a Fantasy Football type competition, they gradually phased this out in favor of the laddish football-based humor, with special guests each time. The show no longer runs regularly, although it returned during the 2004 European Championships. Frank Skinner has a successful chat show, while David Baddiel mainly does stand-up comedy, although he was the subject of a moving program about his Jewish heritage in 2004. Bizarrely, Statto now covers horse racing on cable TV....
