Over 75 licensed national teams and 16 licensed leagues including the English Premier League are available for your control, and you have the opportunity to lead your team to the World Cup of 2002. Improved tackling system. Depending on which angle you make a tackle determines the referee's call.

FIFA Soccer 2002 is EA Sports' first fourth-generation soccer game. FIFA 2002 allows for total control of the ball, with many real-life moves, such as the bicycle kick or the head dive.

FIFA 2002 contains more than 400 teams and 16 different leagues. You may choose to play a single game, a season, practice, tournament, or go for the FIFA Qualifiying mode, titled "Road To World Cup".

If you're a stat nut, FIFA includes lots of statistics that keep track throughout your career, such as Shots On Goal, Assists, Passes, etc.

FIFA 2002 also includes various formations to help you on the field.

There are lots of stadiums and different weather conditions, which affects the ball physics and the players themselves.
