Description
This is re-release of the original Final Fantasy II game for PSP. Like the previously re-released Final Fantasy it also has been built upon the Game Boy Advance version of the game. It has all bonuses from the Game Boy version including Soul of Rebirth, but also features new improved graphics, 16:9 screen format with easy to read texts and better quality of music and general sounds. The CG intro from the PlayStation version has also been redone in 16:9. It also includes art galleries of Yoshitaka Amano's illustrations.
There is an entirely new dungeon dubbed "Arcane Sanctuary". The dungeon makes use of the "word memory system", and depending on word selection there will be new enemies and unique dungeons. Also like in the GBA version there is a bestiary and an unlockable BGM music player. Other features do not change the GBA version much, even the difficulty is the same as in
Dawn of Souls.
