Koningin Brahne van Alexandrië is begonnen met het gebruik van zeer geavanceerde magische wapens om de aangrenzende koninkrijken te terroriseren. Haar dochter (prinses Garnet) loopt weg uit het kasteel en raakt bevriend met een groep goedaardige bandieten die worden geleid door een handige dief (Zidane) die een eind wil maken aan de plannen van de boosaardige koningin om de wereld te overheersen.
