Trivia

According to Dreadnought Films, producers were so impressed by Andrew Bowen's performance that the footage used in Fox Hunt was recut and released as a movie; though, this seems to only have been in certain parts of Europe. Warner Brothers executives also wanted to develop the game as a possible television series for the WB network.

This game is referenced on a very funny site, Acts of Gord (www.actsofgord.com), which covers the actions of the owner of a Canadian video games rental store.

On this particular page - http://www.actsofgord.com/Chronicles/chapter37.html - Fox Hunt is labeled as one of the worst games ever and that no person should ever be allowed to endure it. He doesn't say, but it seems that they had the PlayStation version.

A Sega Saturn version of Fox Hunt was planned, as was a full-length feature film, but neither saw release.

Rhino Records released a soundtrack for the game, which included songs by Faith No More, Sugar Hill Gang, Butthole Surfers, and several others.

Fox Hunt's comical antagonist, Frank (Timothy Bottoms), plays George W. Bush in Comedy Central's "That's My Bush!" series and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the 1971 film "The Last Picture Show." Other Hollywood talent in the game includes Rob Lowe, George Lazenby, and Lewis Arquette (father of David, Rosanna, and Patricia Arquette, among other Arquettes), who past away in February 2001.
