Fury of the Furries

Kalisto nous a confié que la routine du tiny vert a été programmée par un polytechnicien ayant voué son intelligence aux jeux vidéo... Pour ne rien gâcher (comme dirait l'éleveur de champions), les couleurs sont vives, le scrolling fluide et les parties peuvent être sauvegardées. A posséder absolument.

This is one of the best platformers I have ever seen. The gameplay is great, the difficulty curve just right and the joy factor - 10.

The first time I played this game, I must admit I found it far too slow to be playable. A couple of goes later, and I was hooked by the charismatic little chaps, who may not be the fastest things on two legs, but sure are the cutest. Fury is chock full of those 'little touches' we reviewers so love to see, which just add more to what is already a great game. This one won't leave your machine for quite a while.

I really am enjoying this one. It's beautifully animated, wonderfully presented and quite addictive. The movement of characters is smooth and effective, with bags of personality. There are even a couple of flashy effects like the screen swirling around and fading into nothing when you complete a level. The only downside is that some people might find it a little slow. It takes at least a second to get moving, and another second if you want to stop. There's a bit of a lag on the joystick control, which means you have to be thinking of yourself. After a couple of goes, though, the controls become so instinctive that it stops being a handicap and the game becomes really enjoyable.

It’s hard to explain well why this is such a good game, but take my word for it, and you won’t get disappointed. It guarantees hours of gameplay since there are lots of maps with different types puzzles in them.

Grafiken är, trots sin enkelhet, bra, men kanske lite tråkig. Ljudet är ganska medelmåttigt utan vare sig några höjdpunkter eller bottennapp. Ljudet kan man stänga av, men inte musiken. Synd, för den är ganska enformig. Fury of the Furries är ett ganska trevligt spel, men inte riktigt något som man skulle offra en god natts sömn för att varva.
