Not all characters can dispose of the archers populating the higher grounds. Erik is one of the most effective in this regard.
Using Giorgio's ability to shoot in two opposite directions at the same time.
It's hard to literally "gain ground" when the enemies are behind barriers. Well that's why lovely Rachel has a boomerang.
I really think that rescuing hostages looks ridiculously funny.
Diamond's water sprout is probably the only special attack that doesn't kill enemies, but instead spins them around and renders them useless for a few seconds.
