Chuck II doesn't give up much in the fun department in it's step down the evolutionary scale from Genesis to Game Gear. Chuck II is a chip off the old Chuck.

Det som man impas mest över är grafiken som är total, aldrig har ett GG-spel sett så bra ut. Man bara sitter och njuter. Okej,det är kanske är lite kort, men det fins tre svårighetsgrader, så man kan hålla på med Son of Chuck rätt länge utan att tröttna.
Julia meint Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck ist eine gelungene Fortsetzung. Insgesamt hat sich nur dummerweise so wenig geändert, dass man nicht wirklich das Gefühl hat, ein anderes Spiel zu spielen. Der kleine Bildausschnitt in Verbindung mit dem unübersichtlichen Leveldesign können etwas frustrieren, auch wenn der Schwierigkeitsgrad generell immer so niedrig bleibt, dass ihr gut bis zum Ende der Stages findet. Für Genre-Fans ist Chuck Rock II auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

This is yet another example of how Game Gear can do justice to a game on a diminished platform. Chuck Rock 2 has basically everything the Genesis has. Huge levels, lots of technique and great animations are the highlight. One quibble, though: the control is loose, and can make things a bit aggravating at times
