Description
A descendent of
Elite, you were the test pilot of the first hyperdrive ship from Earth. The drive worked... A little too well. You ended up on the other side of the galaxy, in totally unknown space. Fortunately, you were contacted by the Teladi, who agreed to loan you some money (at usurious rates!) for you to start your own little trading, upgrade your ship, and hopefully find your way home... It's a full 3D in-ship simulation with lots of sectors, multiple species of aliens, ships, lots of equipment and cargo, and more.

Trivia
One of the "modern" games with real nasty copy protection. It could be copied pretty easy and no one would expect it when just checking if it works - but somehow, pirate copies tended to "cheat" the player. You wouldn't get the right amount of money for goods, goods would be lost somewhere for no good reason, quests would be finished by the player and counted as not finished or vice versa - and the best: it could happen after hours of play :)
