GameZone (Jun 15, 2002)
This is a challenging game with excellent graphics, sound and options. Players who haven’t jumped into the baseball mode before may want to try a different game, but if you are looking for a game that will push your abilities, this is one you will want to try out.
IGN (Jun 05, 2002)
Of all the sports games on the Game Boy Advance, the baseball genre is the most crowded, with 3DO, Sega, and Acclaim vying for your hardball dollar. All-Star Baseball 2003 is a solid, enjoyable effort that has its own quirks and gaping definitely has room for improvement, but its foundation is strong enough for Creation's team to build the next year's version upon. Sega's Baseball Advance is this season's victor, but Acclaim's game comes in a near second.
GameSpot (Jul 03, 2002)
Acclaim's All-Star Baseball 2003 is a contender for the title of most entertaining baseball game on any of the major consoles, and the new Game Boy Advance version is even better in some ways. Although the game does feature some annoying faults, it boasts impressive graphics, audio, and gameplay in a tight package that most baseball fans will enjoy.
Gaming Target (Jun 26, 2002)
In the eyes of some baseball fans, All-Star Baseball may have what they’ve been looking for. It does feature a bunch of modes, multiplayer support, extras, a cool pitcher/batter interface and some detailed graphics. However, to the many others out there, next year may bring more of the All-Star caliber performance we are used to as 2003 is only the foundation of what developer can produce. For those who just can’t wait though, the many options and battery saved stats found in the game should last most to the end of the baseball season or at least until the All-Star game.
