Game Freaks 365
Why in the world Hip has not marketed this title is unknown. Heck, they forgot to send us a review copy when it launched; you'd think that the game would be horrible. Lucky for us, I was wrong; this game is a masterpiece and will hopefully be improved in the second game, which will be released this year. The single player and multi-player modes are convincingly fun and are why Hip has a hit on its hands, but only if it had a level selection, it would have been a must-have. Nonetheless, don't be a stinker, go purchase this now.

CT Special Forces introduces few new ideas, but offers an impressive collection of everything good in 2D action platformers. You¹ve got all the right weapons, ultimate bosses, first-person sniping and classic helicopter shooting stages, topped off with excellent visuals and the perfect musical score. Intense and addictive? You betcha!

If you like Metal Slug, if you're a fan of Contra, if you relish the antiquity of an age of 2-D gaming long thought to be forgotten in the annals of video game history... then CT Special Forces is for you. It may not be the longest game ever created, but it manages to effectively capture the essence and fun of 2-D side-scrolling shooters quite well. With three unique modes to play within, a variety of unique weapons, wonderful graphics and an extraordinary soundtrack, CT Special Forces is a game that modern gamers and nostalgia freaks (like me) can truly sink their teeth into. It may not be perfect, but it is a hell of a ride and I truly hope that the second installment is brought stateside. At a retail price of $19.99, do yourself a favor and pick this game up while you can... you certainly won't regret it!

Avec CT Special Forces, LSP signe un titre d'action à l'ancienne qui mélange brillamment plusieurs genres. Dommage simplement qu'il se termine si rapidement. Cela dit, les nostalgiques de shoot et d'action old school y trouveront leur compte.

CT Special Forces successfully recaptures the arcade styling of old, and adds in a whole new way to play, with the new stealth option. Along with some fabulous cartoon visuals and animations that make CT look and feel tremendously arcade like, also with the new helicopter and sniper sections the gameplay is certainly split up nicely to make a tremendously enjoyable game.
