There's no question that the game design in On with the Show is aimed at the younger gaming crowd, since the challenges are extremely basic and offer very little challenge for the experienced gamer. It's cool that the game pays homage to a lot of the little things that happen on the Muppet Show (like the Statler and Waldorf comments from the balcony), so there's at least something here for the older folks who grew up with the show. But honestly, this is for the kids. And it's a decent one for that group...it's just not one for the die-hard Game Boy gamer.

Zu wenig und zu kurz – das dürfte wohl der Hauptkritkpunkt an Muppets: On with the Show sein. Das Spiel ist klar auf die jüngere Zielgruppe ausgerichtet, ob hier jedoch das Muppets-Flair wirklich wirken kann ? Technisch hingegen kann das Spiel überzeugen, spielerisch wird außer eher simplen Geschicklichkeitstests in Muppets-Umgebung leider nichts geboten. Für die kleinen Muppets-Fans jedoch sicherlich einen Blick wert.
