In the Sonic Clash 2-player minigame, you will sometimes see Big the Cat from Sonic Adventure fishing off the edge of the arena.

There's one major difference between the Japanese and US versions of the game: The voices. While both games allow you to choose the language for options and dialogue, the US version has completely different voices from its Japanese counterpart. The most noticeable difference is Tails, who has an almost female voice in Japan, while his US voice sounds... whiny.

The two secret characters of this game are E-102 "Gamma" and Chaos, both from Sonic Adventure.
