If you have a taste for the unusual, then get ready to yeti on the Game Boy Advance with Urban Yeti, an action platform game.

The yeti, AKA "abominable snowman," is a giant critter that walks like a man, is covered in hair and hides out in Himalayan mountains, only to be captured occasionally on some grainy home-video footage. In Urban Yeti, the search for a mate has driven this normally reclusive gent down from the snow-capped heights and into the urban jungle.

The city can be a dangerous place for a yeti. Your hairy hero can try to sneak around the busy streets undetected or smash everything in his path. The choice is up to you, but hyperaggressive behavior will result in angry humans who want you off their turf.

In a move worthy of P.T. Barnum, publisher Telegames solemnly claims to have motion-captured a real yeti. Hmmm. Said yeti must have been quite the trouper, since his various tasks in this game include working at a restaurant and floating through a sewer in an inner tube.

Urban Yeti features four detailed city landscapes to explore, minigames and humorous cuts-scenes that will have you chuckling. The overhead view gives you a good look at the action. You won't believe your ears the first time you hear the yeti mating call.

This game has been rated "T" (Teen) by the independent Entertainment Software Rating Board.
