DescriptionIn this pokemon themed game, you must move and match blocks to clear the board before the blocks fill up the screen. It's a tetris like game, with pokemon twist. There are many different ways to play the game, including a challenge with gym leaders, puzzle practice, and a straight, play til you lose, marathon mode. This game can also be linked with other gameboys for challenge of real people.

Panel de PonThere is evidence that Pokemon Puzzle Challenge was originally going to be a Game Boy version of Panel de Pon, with the fairies intact in all releases of the game. An unfinished prototype of Panel De Pon GB can be accessed by loading Puzzle Challenge on the original Game Boy and pressing the A button 24 times, and then the B button 24 times.
