You don't need a driver's license to take Infogrames' portable racing Pak for a test spin, but a pair of fuzzy dice and a lead foot would definitely come in handy.
Test Drive 6 is an overhead-perspective racing game featuring 11 different fully licensed sports cars. You have to speed and swerve your way through 24 tracks, always staying one step ahead of three hungry computer-controlled vehicles.
In Tournament Mode, players must race through 12 real-world cities. After each race successful drivers can upgrade their vehicles by buying new tires, engine parts, or Power Bursts. To overcome the competition clotting advanced tracks, players can fork over trunkloads of dough to purchase new speedsters from the Test Drive Garage.
Play control is forgiving, making it easy for rookie drivers to negotiate turns and obstacles like a pro. A battery-backed save feature records best track times, and allows you to pick up your career where you left off after taking a break for dinner.
Test Drive 6 is compatible with Game Boy pocket and the classic Game Boy as well as Game Boy Color.
