A toadal (aagh!) gameplaying extravaganza! Heaps of different games in one cart make Battletoads a real treat for GB arcade fans.

Game Zero
Battletoads on the GameBoy isn't too bad, I must say. Above average music, cool multi-speed scrolling, and a difficult skill level make this game enjoyable enough to play, but personally if you have an NES 8-bit buy it for that unless you really want it for the road.

Nintendo Power Magazine
To your battle stations Toadsters! The Dark Queen is up to her evil tricks again and those fabulous fightin' frogs, the Battletoads, are in for another round of slime smashin' action against her fiendish forces!

Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM)
The Toads actually make a pretty good Gameboy cart. The animations are still intact and the most of the funky moves are there as well. The music is well done and sounds great in studio. The gameplay is just as intense as the NES version and well-deserving of the name.

Power Play
Die Grafik sieht gut aus: Sie ist jedoch so schnell, daß Angreifer einfach nicht zu sehen sind. Einzig die netten Extrawaffen retten den Spielspaß in die gehobene Mittelklasse.
