On level 9 (Terra Tubes), you'll hear the same music as level 5 (Surf City) in the NES version, but you'll hear the same music as level 8 (Intruder Excluder) in the Genesis version.
It's the only place where the musics doesn't match between the various versions as far I know.

Battletoads was never released on the SNES. Rare developed a different game with a different storyline for the SNES called Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (1993). It's differs from the Game Boy game as well as from the NES/Genesis game.

The Game Boy version of Battletoads is completely different from the NES and Genesis versions. Strangely, Rare later ported the original Battletoads and released it on the Game Boy as Battletoads in Ragnarok's World
