Where to download the soundtrack for Donkey Kong Land?
White Wolf (232), Nov 08, 2008
User AvatarI'm still looking for old Game Boy soundtracks, but the Internet doesn't seem to take an interest in my request. In other words, I can't find what I'm looking for. Can you guys help me out here? I have found the soundtrack for Donkey Kong Country, though, but not for Donkey Kong Land. Remember, the soundtrack format must be compatible with Windows Media Player.
User AvatarI found this: http://www.laurasmidiheaven.com/0vg/Gameboy-DonkeyKongLand.shtml

It's just one song though...

Maybe you should try looking for a piece of software that can extract the music from ROM files. That might exist.

I could use the emulator Visual Boy Advance's sound recording feature to record the music. It shouldn't be any problem to download the emulator nor the ROM file for Donkey Kong Land.

The link didn't work, but I will try again later, and if it still doesn't work, I will use an emulator to rip the music.
User AvatarI can only find GBS rip files, not MP3s.

Why not take the GBS file, play it in Winamp, then save the files as WAV? Jeez. :P
User AvatarYou can usually find winamp plugins for those kinds of files so that you don't need to convert them to MP3s in the first place. There's one here:

User AvatarThanks for all your help. I have now acquired the music that I wanted. I used VisualBoyAdvance to rip the music from a ROM file.
