On the plus side, I thoroughly enjoyed the noble Arthurian melodies. The gentle lifting tunes took me back to a bye-gone age of chivalry and even had me opening the door for Ed! But if you loved the arcade game, you'll find this conversion disappointing.

Auch die Musik ist peppig und paßt fein zum Spielgeschehen. Alles in allem wider Erwarten keine “armen Ritter‘ sondern ein handwerklich solides. schön anzusehendes, spielerisch anspruchsvoller Geschicklichkeitstest. Nicht ganz die Klasse von “Gremlins II“ oder “Batman‘, aber trotzdem ein feines Modul.

Un gioco che all'epoca in molti hanno esaltato per via dell'ottima grafica. Peccato fosse quasi impossibile, con passaggi al limite del lancio dalla finestra del Game Boy! Un gioco FRUSTRANTE! Se però cercate una sfida vera, direi che qui trovate pane per i vostri denti.

Ce qui impressionne vraiment dans ce jeu, ce sont les graphismes ! Alors là, chapeau, c'est presque du « jamais vu » sur Game Boy, avec une finesse et une richesse qui respectent parfaitement l'esprit heroïc fantasy. Par contre, du côté du jeu, c'est moins le panard, car les commandes sont trop rigides et les mouvements du personnage (sauf quand il marche) ne sont pas assez réalistes. Résultat, on peste contre les commandes, et on n'apprécie pas assez un jeu qui aurait pu être fabuleux, mais qui se fait un peu trahir par sa maniabilité.

Fanatic fans of old, arcade-style jump and dodge games should find Dragon's Lair: The Legend satisfactory. However, players looking for an intense Game Boy adventure comparable to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the reigning champ, Gargoyle's Quest, might come away singed. Sometimes legends aren't all they're cracked up to be.
