Summary
a fun action game that got rave reviews at the time
The Good
Well, it's a typical console side-scrolling action game. The graphics and sound were as good as a GameBoy permits, in other words nothing to rave about but solid. It's mindless but a lot of fun and increasingly difficult.
The Bad
Nothing really. It was very good for a GameBoy game... comparable games on other systems at the time (Xenon 2, Turrican 2) were technically better and may have had more features (due to the GameBoy's obvious limitations), but this game was very solid.
The Bottom Line
At the time being it got rave reviews from magazines and fellow gamers. It's still fun, but nothing with historical significance or anything. Don't go out of your way to get it - there's plenty of others like it - but Nemesis was really the first of it's kind on the GameBoy.
