Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters

Gillar man att undersöka och är nyfiken på vad som finns bakom knuten tycker man nog att detta är ett bra tidsfördriv till spel. Har man dessutom tålamod och inget vettigare för sig, bör man nog om inte springa så åtminstone småjogga till affären och köpa Kid Icarus.

Sometimes NES classics are worth another look on the Game Boy. The Kid's graphics are fine in back-and-white with large sprites and nice backgrounds. the music sets the mood, too. Most kids can't fly, but on the Game Boy Icarus sure does!

All the features of the original are included, plus great additions like Battery Save. The game was received late so we only got time to cover the first level, but later areas are similar. It may look like Kid-stuff, but it's a real challenge.

Ähnlich wie Metroid 2 erfüllt der zweite Kid-Icarus-Streich nicht die hohen Erwartungen. Wer auf unterhaltsame Geschicklichkeitsspiele steht, der darf trotzdem zugreifen.

A fairly engaging little platformer, but it's a bit repetitive. Persistence extends it's lifespan, but you'll get bored before you get stuck.

All in all leave this game alone. It is a big disappointment and is only good for collecting. It is dirt common which makes it even less appealing to track down. The only strong point is it has a save feature now instead of having to copy down that like 40 character password in the NES original was a chore.
