Behind the slightly smoother visuals and a few minor gameplay changes, Mr Driller is exactly the same as it's always been. It'd be pointless trying to change it, though - the formula has been correct since day one and a major overhaul would most likely bring out disaster. If you somehow tire of drilling, there's always the opportunity of shopping too - collectible cards, items and power-ups for the different modes are all up for grabs, as well as several theatres and galleries. You may actually find yourself using these as well - they're a genuinely great way to break up the action, and some of the in-game music is absolutely wonderful. Providing he can keep coming back with bigger and better adventures like this, we can't see Mr Driller gasping for air any time soon.
