Game Vortex
From the start, MX Superfly shows how MX games should look and sound. Everything, from the riders to the tracks have an extremely clean look to them, which is kind of a funny statement when you think about it since you're racing through dirt - but anyway, I'm getting off track. Animations are top notch and smoother than a bald Billy Dee Williams in a malt liquor commercial. The amount of detail in each of the riders is amazing - shadows, realistic looking light effects, dirt and smoke flying everywhere. What's not to like?

Game Freaks 365
This game includes 25 tracks, unlockable tricks, freestyle & career mode, and track editor. It has mini games and and some unlockable riders with a 20 hours worth of gameplay. However this game is very addicting and you'll be playing it way after beating the game a few times with the different riders. Truly a good game.

IGN
MX Superfly is a great dirt-bike racer. It's packed full of features and options, including 22 tracks of varying locales (both indoor and out) and 14 pro riders for starters. If you're one of those types who lives for big air videogames, then this game is virtual gold for you. You can soar in Superfly -- really soar. Huge air potential, massive tricks and stunts -- you can clear chasms while performing one-handed 360-degree spins if you like, and it's just as entertaining and satisfying as it sounds.

Gaming Target
MX Superfly delivers on all facets and is unquestionably the best motocross racing experience of the pack. You can’t denounce the sheer number of modes and hidden extras in addition to licensed motocross racers. On top of that are the licensed tracks and rewarding trick system. Yes, it takes some time to master, but when it’s all said and done; MX Superfly is money well spent.

Overall, MX Superfly featuring Ricky Carmichael proves to be a well-rounded, deep, and diverse title. The graphics and sound in the GameCube version surpass those found on the PlayStation2. Although the gameplay is the same on the two systems, I couldn't believe how much the improved graphics affected my enjoyment of the game. If you're looking for the quintessential MX Superfly experience, I suggest picking this one up for your Cube.

GameSpot
MX Superfly may get bogged down from time to time by the overabundance of minigames, but behind that small obstacle is a motocross game with great gameplay and solid audiovisual presentation. GameCube owners looking for some dirt-bike racing and freestyle action would do well to pick this one up.

Game Chronicles
Pacific Coast Power & Light has built themselves a winner in MX Superfly. While there isn’t much in the way of competition for this title on the ‘Cube, I expect it to be able to hold it’s own in the gameplay department ‘till the next installment is released.
