Temple

The opening screen gives players a taste of what's to come: swarms of monsters and hidden treasure.

The game pits good against evil. The Gemstone Warrior may visit the temple on the way into the dungeon, demonstrating that he fights for the good of mankind.

Players enter the dungeon through a revolving teleport door. The first cavern is safe, to give players a chance to familiarize themselves with the controls.

Spread throughout the caverns are doors and grates to other cavens. Many players save before using the entries.

Once through the door, players can listen to see what beast is about to appear and attack. The "Contagious Shamber" carries disease.

Monsters do gang up. The blue eye is a summoner, bringing extra monsters to battle. The skull means the Gemstone Warrior is dead.
