Crusader of Centy

En su momento fue un gran juego y hoy sigue siendo recordado con cariño por mucha gente. Algunos lo acusan de parecerse mucho a Zelda, pero Soleil logra crear un estilo propio gracias al uso de los animales. En definitiva, todo amante de los juegos de rol debería jugarlo, pues Soleil es uno de esos lanzamientos para el que no pasan los años.

What a game. Centy provided the kind of enjoyment found in a game such as Zelda 3. The graphics and music are very well done, the story is cool, the quest is vast and I love the way your character can perform so many tasks. More than just the sum of it's parts. Centy is one of those games that can consume you for days on end.

Como conclusión Soleil es un juego impresionante, brillante en cada uno de sus apartados y con una jugabilidad muy marcada. Su argumento se vuelve mas intenso a medida que avanzas, con inesperados giros argumentales fundidos con filosofía. Todo ello da a Soleil una personalidad única que no encontrarás en ningún otro juego. Solo ensombrecido por su duración, estamos ante uno de los mejores action RPG de todos los tiempos, inolvidable.

En resumidas cuentas. Soleil es un juego estupendo y, sobre todas las cosas, encantador. Por él no pasa el tiempo, se mantiene como un venerable anciano con espíritu joven. Te atrapa desde el principio con una trama sencilla pero hasta los topes de sorpresas y originalidad, con trasfondo moral y moraleja incluidos, algo no demasiado frecuente de ver ni siquiera en estos tiempos que corren. No te dejes engañar por su aspecto, te cautivará.

Only fans of "old-school" Action/RPGs in the same vein as Landstalker need apply. The only real problem with this game lies in the fact that it won't take RPG fans very long to complete (unlike the older Landstalker). Crusader of Centy/Soleil is a great Action/RPG that suffers from the age-old problem of being too short for its own good, yet is too fun to ignore. Just enjoy the ride and the sights you see along the way while it lasts. Also keep an eye out for Sonic's cameo appearance. I must admit, playing this game when it first came out feels like yesterday. Where's the harm in succumbing to nostalgia every once in a while by taking a brief detour down memory lane?

Forget Centy if you're a serious RPG fan (in that case, forget Zelda too) because you'll breeze through it so fast that you'll only want more. But if you have a younger sibling who won't leave your Phantasy Star IV or Final Fantasy II carts alone, hand them this game.

What does Centy have that Zelda didn't? It's got Sonic, a little sharper graphics and that about covers it. However, Crusader of Centy is the best Zelda clone yet and the closest Genesis owners are ever gonna come to Zelda. So if you like your RPGs filled with action and your heroes with purple hats. Crusader of Centy is a great choice.

If you're an RPG fan, you've probably already gotten your hands on a copy of this game and know how cool it is; if you aren't a fan, then I would definitely recommend that you give Crusader of Centy a spin. I spent many hours slack-jawed in front of my TV, trying to solve just one more puzzle, and for me, that's unusual behavior.

Crusader of Centy stands on its own as a solidly fun – if brief – adventure, and one of the better ones the Genesis has to offer. So if you've got money to blow, go for it; it's a worthwhile addition to any library.

Crusade of Centy is one of the best games I've seen on the Genesis in a long time. It's an action/RPG on par to the Zelda series. There aren't enough RPGs on the Genesis and when one is as outstanding as this one, it stands out. The story is cool and there are lots of areas to explore. It plays well, although a bit slow. Crusade of Centy is a good game. Atlus should be thanked for this cart.
