Lemmings

Au cas où vous ne l’auriez pas encore compris, Lemmings est un grand classique, un incontournable auquel il faut avoir déjà joué au moins une fois dans sa vie. Le titre mêle allègrement et avec brio réflexion, casse-tête, réflexes et bonne humeur : une recette aussi détonante qu’originale qui a fait de ce titre un énorme succès aussi bien commercial que critique. Le jeu reste encore aujourd’hui une référence et s’avère toujours aussi accrocheur qu’à l’époque !

Originelles, gut durchdachtes Denkspiel mit 180 Leveln und intelligentem Zwei-Spieler-Modus. Witzige Grafik, Passwörter zur Genüge- Vorsicht! Lemmings raubt Schlaff und macht süchtig! Die Steuerung per Joypad ist nicht ganz problemlos, aber erlernbar. Die Musik ist ziemlich schräg und deswegen auf Dauer kein Hit.

Reviewing the Genesis port of Lemmings isn't quite as cut-and-dry as reviewing a game that remained exclusive to the system or even the era. Even in 1992, gamers had a bevy of virtually identical versions of the game to choose from, and the crowd grew dramatically within just a few short years. It's undeniable that the classic gameplay that so enamored gamers in the early '90s is just as fun and addictive today as ever, but while time has been kind to the source material, the same isn't completely true of the way it's represented here. Lemmings on the Genesis, while a perfectly enjoyable and fundamentally solid port in its own right, was eclipsed by later releases that offered essentially the same experience with fewer bugs.
