Despite the small player size, this game does a very nice job of recreating the intensity of pro basketball. Fast action, solid control and the soothing voice of Marv Albert combine to offer you a lot of arcade-style hoops entertainment.

NBA Action 94 is far superior to EA Sports' Bulls vs. Lakers or any of the Tecmo simulations. NBA Showdown 94 is still the top cart in the sim market, but don't let that stop you from scoring with this fun game.

NBA Action '94 offers a different perspective on the court, but the constant scrolling and changing perspective make things confusing. There are plenty of options and Two-player Mode is cool, but it just doesn't come together.
