Perform the Stage Select cheat code as mentioned before. While in the Stage Select menu, play the following tracks in the Sound Test: 01, 09, 09, 02, 01, 01, 02, 04. You should hear a ring when you play Track 04 to indicate the code worked. Hold down the A button as you select a stage to enter Debug Mode.
While in Debug Mode, press B to change Sonic into an object. Press A to change into another object or a tile, and press C to place an object or tile onto the field. Press B to change back into Sonic.
WARNING: On some copies of Sonic 2, using Debug Mode may crash the game! This mostly occurs in some early release copies of the game. |
