Superb
The Good
Well, it's a classic. Admittedly, many games of the early 90'd were forgettable, but this really hits the nail on the head. I've played it for as long as I remember, I've always loved it, never have tired of it, and never will.
Robtnik's new plot is to harness the power of floating island's chaos emeralds to repair is crashed "death egg" ship. But naturally, Sonic is there to stop him, exactly aas he should. So Robotnik hatches his new plot: to tell the Floating Island guardian Knuckles that Sonic and Tails are the ones trying to take the emeralds. While Sonic, Tails, and Kuckles duke it out, will Robotnik take over the world? Of course not!
The Bad
I agree with another Sonic review that this and Sonic and Knuckles should have been in the same cartridge. AS sonic and knuckles alone, you can't even control tails (!?)
The Bottom Line
99% alone, 200% with Sonic and Knuckles
