Gilbert Goodmate and the Mushroom of Phungoria

Description

Gilbert Goodmate is an old-style 2D point and click adventure. Many years ago, an evil wizard called Karn was defeated by a young boy, with the unlikely help of a mushroom. So that the people of Phungoria would never forget how the world was saved, the mushroom was put in the town square and a citizen elected every year to take care of the mushroom.

This year it is Gilbert's grandfather who must take care of it. But the mushroom is stolen, and the people say he must be executed. As Gilbert, you must save the day.

Trivia

The genie in the bottle has extremely similar voice and accent as Peter Sellers in "The Party" movie. It is very much influenced by that character, even some dialogues are exact like in the movie, like the parrot scene when Peter Sellers says "Birdie, Num Num".
