Zeitgleich mit der PC-Version erscheint Glover am 20. November.

While Glover won't blow you away, it is a very enjoyable puzzle game that combines solid gameplay mechanics and off-the-wall character design. It will take most players a while to get used to the controls, but once you finally learn how to move around, the game becomes a lot of fun.

In the end, Glover is just plain fun--I have to admit I have become quite addicted to it. In the game, it's not always obvious what you're supposed to do next and, for me, a game that keeps me thinking keeps me coming back. Sure Glover is not perfect, but with totally unique gameplay and characters that are an absolute riot, Hasbro Interactive has a winner on its hands. That's a good thing, because I'm sure that if they make a Glover 2 or Son of Glover or whatever, it will be even better than the original, and that's not bad at all.

Glover is one of those rare games that comes along and really surprises you. It's cute, it's non-violent, and it's actually fun. Unless you just can't stand games where you're not blowing the hell out of anything and everything that moves, you'll definitely enjoy Glover. I give this one two thumbs up.

Hasbro's first game shows a lot of creativity and promise. This is a very good game. It would be a great game if the worlds were better fleshed out, the camera angles were easier to maneuver, and the character controls were more intuitive and natural (though I understand this is extremely challenging). Basically, they should have played a few more games of Super Mario World before they called this one done. I would only recommend this game to fairly hard core video gamers who like comic animation games.

Nintendo 64Game Revolution
Glover reminds me a lot of Iggy's Reckin' Balls in that they both look like simple or boring games, but underneath the kiddie candy-coated exterior lies a good game with an amazing amount of depth. Kudos to Hasbro Interactive for bringing something original to the tired platform genre. If you've got the time, try Glover on for size.

Although Glover doesn't have the big name like Zelda or Turok 2, it's a quality game that won't disappoint. Its worst failing is that it is being released at a time with so many other great games. It's completely original and inventive, and the play control is extraordinary.

PlayStationAll Game Guide
While Glover is a fairly easy game with little to master, it provides a deep enough journey to warrant playtime. Not only is that one of the better qualities in this title, it also signifies an effective platformer. It may not be well rounded in the level design or graphical departments, but it remains an enjoyable title. Many game designers incorporate a high learning curve to mask the fact that their game is a very short and annoying one. A game should be addictive with the right amount of challenge; you shouldn't feel frustrated while playing anything. Glover accomplishes this in its own simple, cartoonish way.

This is a platform game of the much-copied-but-never-bettered Mario 64 variety. It's aimed at a younger audience, which means that you bounce your ball along to the occasional strains of a nursery rhyme or two and the action is rather pleasantly non-threatening. It's all good, clean, harmless fun in reasonably rendered 3D landscapes. One for the amusement of younger pre-pubescents. Hairier youths will be less impressed.

I'd love to be able to wholly recommend this for it's original perspective on a tired genre, but it's let down by some flaws that can't be ignored. The controls seem to rely more luck than judgement, not in the least because Glover himself and the ball seem to operate under different laws of physics. On top of this, the camera system is incredibly obstructive and often makes solving the simple puzzles more difficult than necessary.

The game was fun and cute, but not groundbreaking. The arcade action was good and the graphics were very nice, but the sounds and control were not so nice. While not too much could be complained about with the sound, the control was a factor that truly degraded gameplay. Nevertheless, the game was interesting, and anyone looking for a cutesy arcade game will be sure to love Glover.

Perhaps Glover 2 (which is being developed for the N64 and the PlayStation) will be something to get a bit more excited about. Glover, despite its interesting play mechanics, seems to have lost its soul in the port from the N64. Very unfortunate. With the host of platformers available for the PlayStation, finding an adequate substitute shouldn't prove too difficult.

Glover, is an overall fun game (if you're 10), but ultimately a wee bit on the boring side. You're better off loading up Mario64 on your nintendo if you want to play a game of this type.

The game is worth checking out if you’re really into platform games and you want something a bit different. It doesn’t take itself seriously and provides enjoyable platform romp. If you’re only a casual platform gamer then you’d best stay away.

WindowsPC Gamer
Sure, this is a 3D platform game with a funky concept, but the annoying controls and trite gameplay offer little to the PC market, which can't seem to get a good 3D platform game to save its life. If it's Mario 64-style action you crave, go buy a Nintendo 64, and let Glover sit on its hand.

PlayStationIGN
Overall, Glover is a gaming experience that anyone could do without. There isn't one individual element that brings the whole thing down, it's a collaborative effort. There are a few good ideas present, but the makers didn't play them well, so we end up with a final product that just isn't fun or rewarding to play. I'll leave it up to the obvious. Mediocre gameplay + Bad graphics = Bad game. If you're curious, give it a rental -- But definitely don't plunk down a few dozen Washingtons for it. Money like that would be better spent on something with purpose, like many pounds of cheese.

There was absolutely nothing in this game that made me want to keep playing, recommend it to others, or be a glove. I first ran Glover knowing Hasbro was aiming for a younger group of players, but it is a 3D platformpuzzle game and any true 3D game has to be aimed for older, more experienced and knowledgeable gameplayers. Playing Glover is probably the worst gaming experience this reviewer has ever had. As far as recommending it goes, I would rather tell people to spend their time getting Wolfenstein working with their TNTs than encouraging them to get their hands on this title. The below standard graphics, low-quality sound, obvious lack of effort in producing it, strange control and gameplay as good as a one meg trident video card all combine into one of the worst games I have ever played.
