Trivia

Some boxes in the UK, had two free promotional material: "A Pictographic history of The Godfather Movies Part I, II and II" contains a plot summary, trivia, colour photographs and 'The Corleone Family Tree' on the back cover. And advertisement of CIC Video's boxset "Godfather the Epic 1901-1959" (Parts 1&2) with added footage and announcement of "The Godfather Part III" release in 1992, all on video cassette [VHS].

The game came out a year after the final movie was released in 1990. Certain scenes are based and/or inspired from all three "the Godfather" movies, notable examples are: 1940s era New York City setting of the 1st movie (1945 onwards), location of Havana, Cuba comes from 2nd movie and 3rd movie, the helicopter attack on the conservatory.
