GW Octopus

Description

GW Octopus is a remake of one of the 1981 Wide Screen Game & Watch games that came on a single, LCD device.

Players control a diver who need to search the ocean floor, grabbings items from a treasure chest on the right while avoiding the tentacles of an octopus on the right side of the screen. As in the original game, there is no fluent movement animation, but only a set amount of steps the character can take. The graphics have been updated with touches of colour. Each item collected is awarded with one point, returning to the boat with loot gives three points and at 300 points a bonus is provided.

Movement is done by tilting the device left or right, tapping the desired location or pressing the left or right edge of the screen. As in the original game, there are two game modes with a different difficulty level.
