Description
Hattrick! Wins is a typical managerial soccer simulation where the player is responsible for the athletic and financial success of his team. Unique to other similar German games is the separation between manager and coach, this means principally the player is just looking after the finances. This includes merchandising, stadium maintenance and expansion and transfers. Toilets, snack bars and stadium safety can be rented.
But of course the player can poach into the coach's responsibility and set tactics, training and lineup himself. This can result in conflicts to the trainer or the presidium. The matches are calculated in real-time, commentated by German sports journalist Gerd Rubenbauer and can be watched in an isometric perspective. The "Fast Forward" mode shows only every tenth frame and the top-down perspective is similar to the
Championship Manager series.
Besides the usual career mode
Hattrick! Wins also features scenarios where the player has to solve a task in a certain time, e.g. rescuing the last of the table from the relegation in just a few weeks. The game features the first three German leagues from season 1998/1999. The not licensed club and player names can be changed in the editor.
