Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade has six new campaigns and over 35 stand-alone missions to propel your Heroes into strategic battles.

The elemental Conflux town adds a new mystical environment to the Heroes of Might and Magic III universe. There are seven new veteran Heroes, each with unique characteristics and abilities, over twelve new fantasy creatures to recruit (many of which were in HoMM2), two new Conflux hero classes (sixteen heroes in all), and a slew of fearsome new dragons. New random map generator lets you create unlimited battle scenarios.

Players can also create their own unique battles with a fully functional campaign generator and an improved map editor.

Forge Town

During the development phase of Armageddon's Blade, 3DO unveiled a ninth town - the Forge Town, which was to bring high technology and a futuristic setting to the game. However, the fans panned this move due to the "distastefulness" of the town (especially some concepts, like the bare-breasted Naga Tank). 3DO employees also received death threats via mail, so they scrapped the Forge Town in favour of the Conflux.
