Description

Based off the hit sitcom, you play as Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor. When Binford decides to name some of their products after Tim, he was about to present them on the show he stars on called Tool Time. Before he presents them, he discovers that they are missing and then he goes on a quest to find to the missing tools in other sets around the studio.

You go around four different sets which are four levels long and one level is for the boss battle. You are timed in these sets as well. Your life is very identical to how Sonic The Hedgehog's life works in his games. Instead of golden rings, you collect nuts that come in gold and silver and if you get hit, they burst out of you and you can collect them again. You fight a number of enemies in your quest and you fight against them with a number of tools that you find.

You also have to use a jackhammer to make your way in lower areas sometimes and you sometimes have to use a hammer that has blue stuff come out of it and that bust open certain walls. You also can get power-ups which make your weapons more powerful and they make you jump higher. You can collect power-ups until a certain point until your at maximum power. If you're hit, you lose one power up and so on. You can also get temporary invulnerability.

Trivia

There was no manual included with the game: there was just a piece of paper that said "Real men don't need instructions."
