ADVENTURE is here ported to the iPhone, utilizing the touch-screen to hunt and peck in spelunking commands as though this technology wouldn't have been unthinkable in the mid-'70s.
The story is so vestigial as to be practically racial memory to generations of gamers: an underground cave system, patterned after Kentucky's Mammoth Caves complex, is populated with various lucrative treasures, a handful of magical opponents, and a very disorienting maze, "full of twisty little passages, all alike". Using a primitive text parser, the player navigates to, through and around all of these -- and enjoys a grand adventure, one for the ages.
