Canabalt is my most-played iPad game by far. Its simple, fun concept distills platforming down to its bare essence of running and jumping.

With its single "run as far as you can" mode, Canabalt doesn't offer the most variety in the world, and it pales in comparison to similar games like the recently released Super QuickHook, but it does what it sets out to with style to spare. The high-res graphics look better than ever on the iPad, and seeing the game in its new upscaled state gave it a fresh feel that got me addicted all over again. My only hope is that Semi Secret Software will take to the drawing board once more in the near future so they can grace my iDevices with something really new.
