Description
City Story is a city-building simulation. The player is initially provided with a rather small area and a modest amount of money. Basic construction involves paving streets, planting trees, and purchasing various types of building (town hall, church, restaurants, banks, different types of living quarters, etc.). Money is earned primarily by building factories and making contracts with them; as the factories produce various wares, income for the city is being generated. The player gradually acquires more money, increases the level of the city, gains access to more expensive types of buildings, and is able to expand the city area.
Construction, production of items, and other activities proceed in real time. The game can only be played online, and social interaction plays an important role. Players can view each other's cities, send virtual building materials, leave comments, and chat with each other. Successful socializing aids players to increase the level of the city, unlocking new features and achievements.
