DescriptionDoctor Strange is a DLC pinball table for Pinball FX2 (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows), Zen Pinball 2 (Mac, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U), and Zen Pinball (HD) (iOS and Android). The PS3 and PS Vita version are Cross-Buy. The PS3 version can be transferred to the PS4 version for free. It is based on the Marvel comic book character Doctor Strange. The world is threatened by two dimensional rulers: Nightmare and Dormammu. You need to help Doctor Strange, called the Sorcerer Supreme who protects Earth against mystical threats, to stop the invasion.
There is a basic set of flippers at the bottom and an additional one in the top left. The bottom of the table has three outlanes on each side. The design is largely focused on various long ramps and loops where shots can be combined quickly into combos. They also provide a path around the back of the table and are used to reach the spinners, as well as through the additional flipper. There are four jackpots in total and different abilities can be leveled up, such as intellect, wisdom and spirit, with short 'hurry up' sequences. There are trainings to complete, such as the arcane training and the alchemy training. When the two trainings are completed a multiball is activated.
The main missions for Doctor Strange are activated by shooting down the droptargets below him. For Strange, as well as the three other characters (Nightmare, Dormammu and Baron Mordo) two missions are available for each. They also appear as animated characters on the table. When the wisdom level is completed a hole in the middle of the playfield is activated. It leads to a mini playfield based around the Eye of Agamotto.
