The Settlers for mobile devices is a simplified version of
The Settlers IV with controls adapted to the touch screen. The player is the governor of a small settlement and will have to expand his territory. The
Settlers series puts a lot of emphasis on the optimization of the transport of resources between the various structures: the woodcutter will produce logs, which need to be transported to the sawmill to make planks, which can be used to make new buildings, and so on.
The game features four campaigns of 6 missions each, putting the player in control of the Romans, Vikings, Mayans and Dark Tribe. Contrary to other games in the series, there is no "sandbox" mode.
