Trivia

In the German gaming magazine PC Player (issue 01/1996) Simon the Sorcerer II: The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe was named "Best Adventure in 1995".

The Amiga version, which wasn't released until several years later (and by a totally different company), didn't feature any background music at all. The reason was because the Amiga can't play MIDI music natively. No efforts were made converting the music to an Amiga-friendly format (like the first Simon game in 1993), thus making it a rather poor conversion.

The game's title was obviously inspired by the first book of C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia, entitled The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
